Welcome to DreamFX ("the Service", "we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) in the United Arab Emirates. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your data when you use our AI image-to-video service.
2. Information We Collect
- Mobile number (MSISDN): used as the unique identifier of your account via Direct Carrier Billing (DCB).
- Subscription information: subscription status, carrier, country, activation and renewal dates.
- Uploaded images: temporarily stored so they can be sent to our AI model providers to generate your videos.
- Generated videos: kept in your account until you decide to delete them.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, session identifier, usage logs.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Authenticate you and verify your active subscription with the carrier.
- Process your uploaded images to generate videos via third-party AI providers.
- Provide customer support and improve service quality.
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations in the UAE.
4. Sharing With Third Parties
We only share your data with the parties strictly necessary to deliver the Service:
- AI providers: Runway, Luma, and Kling AI. Your images and text prompts are sent to their servers to generate the videos. During processing, your data is also subject to their respective privacy policies.
- Carriers (Etisalat, du): to manage subscriptions and direct carrier billing.
- Infrastructure providers: web hosting and cloud storage (AWS, Hostinger).
- Authorities: only when legally required.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
- Uploaded images: automatically deleted within 30 days of the video being generated.
- Generated videos: kept in your account until you delete them manually or until your subscription has been inactive for 90 days.
- Account data (MSISDN, subscription log): kept for the duration of your subscription and for 12 months after cancellation for accounting and legal purposes.
6. Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all traffic and store files in secure infrastructure with strict access control. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Your Rights (PDPL)
Under UAE data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Restrict or object to the processing of your data.
- Request portability of your data to another provider.
- Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.
8. Cookies and Sessions
We use a single session cookie (PHPSESSID) solely to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. If we discover that a minor has registered, we will close the account and delete the associated data.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed outside the UAE via our AI providers (United States, Singapore). We apply appropriate contractual safeguards to protect your data in accordance with PDPL requirements.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will publish the updated date at the top of the page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
